Brooke Langle is the founder of Terra Verde and is a 20 year veteran in the environmental consulting industry. She has worked throughout the United States, starting as a biologist and growing into the manager of the national environmental compliance management team for a large firm prior to starting Terra Verde in 2007. As a Cal Poly graduate, she has emulated the “learn by doing” motto throughout her work.
Brooke is well regarded as an expert in environmental compliance management and has successfully led numerous large teams through complex, challenging projects. She continues to stay engaged in resource work and loves to work with her favorite protected species, California red-legged frog (Rana draytonii).
Brooke graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Systematic Biology, with a concentration in Ecology. She is also a 2011 graduate of UCLA’s Management Development for Entrepreneurs Program.
Brian Dugas joined Terra Verde as a Principal Biologist in 2011, bringing 20 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry as an environmental specialist with emphasis in biological resources impact analysis. He has extensive experience with the sensitive species on the Central Coast, including California red-legged frog and steelhead trout. Brian regularly oversees regulatory permitting for Terra Verde’s clients.
Brian holds a M.S. degree in General Agriculture with emphasis in Fisheries and Wildlife Management and a B.S. degree in Natural Resources Management from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo. He is also a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (#6727).
